Love Life Week 40

Stanton was blessed to participate in Love Life's annualWeek 40 event in November, standing alongside church and community partners outside Planned Parenthood in Victorville. We joined our friends from Redeemer Church, Calvary Chapel High Desert, Calvary Chapel Big Bear, Rose of Sharon and other organizations in worship and prayer to end abortion.

Stanton SoCal’s relationship with Love Life stretches back to a remarkable moment.

Several years ago, Stanton was preparing to sponsor a 40 Days for Life campaign in Victorville. Our team was aware of the intense need for concentrated, organized prayer and sidewalk counseling at Planned Parenthood, and even though our resources were stretched thin, the Stanton team decided to host the 40 Days for Life campaign out of a sense of urgency. We were concerned about diverting our attention from client care, but resolved that if the Lord had placed that burden on our heart we must respond and the Lord would make a way.

But praise God, He was at that moment moving in His people’s hearts, and the burden was not ours to share alone! Debbie Taplet contacted us shortly thereafter to share that Love Life was coming to the High Desert — the Love Life team would have a prayerful presence outside Planned Parenthood on a regular basis!

We have been blessed by the prayer support and sidewalk counseling work of Debbie and her team, and we support every effort to increase coverage outside the abortion facility. Numerous babies have been saved from abortion by the Love Life team’s intervention combined with Stanton’s services!

At Love Life’s Week 40 event, our Stanton team was reminded of God’s faithfulness as we prayed and worshiped outside Planned Parenthood with a large crowd of Christian sisters and brothers.

In a beautiful spontaneous moment as the event ended, everyone gathered around the Stanton Mobile to pray for the ministry, team, and especially our clients. We are thankful for the prayers of God's people!
