Dear Friend of Stanton,
As I shared in my previous email, the last few weeks have brought challenges and blessings. Each day Stanton SoCal is covered in prayer and works alongside amazing community partners.
During this challenging time, I met a wonderful volunteer from Love Life who introduced me to Rick, the owner of Howard's Muffler and Hitch. Upon sharing with Rick about the tragic burglary our Mobile sustained, he expressed his support of the ministry work of Stanton and said he wanted to help!
Rick offered to install the new catalytic converter at no charge to Stanton SoCal! In addition, he offered to build a cage adding an additional layer of protection.

I asked Rick why he chose to Support Stanton SoCal and he shared “God blesses us so, we bless others.”
As I reflect on my interaction with Rick I am reminded of the great commandment:

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”
