Stanton Moms and Babies go to Washington

Last week, I represented Stanton SoCal at the National March for Life in Washington, DC. It was a celebratory week, since this is the first year since 1973 that babies are being saved in abortion-free states! At the same time, it was a somber week, marking 50 years since the Roe v. Wade decision led to the death of over 63 million babies from abortion.

However, this year in Washington, it was also my privilege to witness three of our Stanton Moms and their kiddos - all saved from abortion - lobby for life on Capitol Hill!

Three of our special Stanton clients and their babies traveled from the Stanton Healthcare flagship clinic in Meridian, Idaho, to deliver a special message to Elizabeth Warren, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and other lawmakers who claim that life-affirming clinics like Stanton Healthcare are “fake clinics”.

I want you to know that your support is a vital part of the impact Stanton has in our culture - and in the lives of the women we serve. These are women that God is raising up with powerful testimonies that no one can refute.

Our brave Stanton moms, their babies, staff and volunteers from Stanton Healthcare went to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s office where they shared with her staff that Stanton Healthcare is #NOTFAKETOME in response to the Senator claiming that life-affirming clinics are fake and should be shut down.

We also went to the office of Representative Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), but her doors were locked, sending another anti-woman message to those we serve by refusing to hear from them. Our Stanton Moms left their letters outside AOC's office.

Our staff also invited Senator Warren and Representative Ocasio-Cortez to visit Stanton Healthcare’s flagship clinic in Meridian, ID, to tour our AAAHC-accredited clinic, meet with our staff, and hear the very real stories of the mothers we come alongside.

Stanton Healthcare was able to joyfully march at the first post-Roe March For Life in Washington, DC, and I was honored to march with our Stanton clients and their babies.

The Stanton Moms and their children represented thousands of women helped by life-affirming medical clinics. We are blessed to elevate our clients stories and share about the work that we do. Now we will move forward with just as much fervor to overturn abortion in the hearts and minds of the American people. With God's help and power, we will make abortion unthinkable.
