Busy Summer Ahead!
Stanton SoCal's new Executive Director has taken the reins and is moving at full speed ahead!
Brenda and the Stanton Mobile have been all over Southern California in recent weeks, from Pomona to Victorville to Chino Hills to Yorba Linda.
She has connected with our friends at Rose of Sharon and Moses House in Victorville, continuing the partnership between Stanton and those pregnancy/family resource centers. Pro-life groups, churches and political groups have contacted Brenda asking for her to speak on the topic of life and specifically Stanton's vision to replace Planned Parenthood.
When the Mobile isn't full of enthusiastic youth or supportive Knights of Columbus, it is parked and open for clients outside Planned Parenthood in Victorville. Brenda is keeping a schedule of 2-3 days per week at the Planned Parenthood this summer, serving local women and standing for life at the very gates of the abortion business. As interest in Stanton’s ministry grows thanks to our recent increased visibility, we are praying for additional nurses and sonographers to step up and volunteer their time so we can be open more days each week.
One of our faithful RNs is sidelined due to a serious car accident (she is healing, but please keep Evelyn in your prayers!) and another is on hiatus for family reasons, so our staff sonographer Jo has been stepping up to fill shifts and perform the ultrasounds in the Mobile. Thank you, Jo!
With all the drive time being logged lately, our weekly fuel costs have increased significantly. Stanton has been blessed by a consistently balanced budget thanks to our faithful monthly supporters and generous occasional donors, but we now need additional funds to cover our increased operating costs.
Some current and upcoming expenses:
Fuel for the Mobile
Printer toner and paper
Medical supplies
Ultrasound training for new nurses
Generator replacement
If you have been supporting Stanton on a regular basis, thank you! We would not be doing this work without you. The young women who were blessed to be served in the Mobile this month would not have been impacted for life without your faithfulness.
If you have ever considered becoming a monthly supporter of Stanton’s life-saving ministry, we could use your help now! Please consider making a monthly commitment using our convenient online donation portal, so we can expand our services by the end of summer and plan ahead for long-term impact.
On behalf of the women and children whose lives have been touched in and through the Stanton Mobile and our dedicated team, thank you. Your prayer and financial support have carried us through many a day, and we are eager to continue this work with you serving alongside. May the Lord bless you for your heart for the hurting and needy.
