Stanton Mountain Update

We at Stanton Mountain Pregnancy Resource Center have been enjoying helping a daily influx of new clients. There have been so many women coming through our doors. Even with the massive amount of baby diapers, wipes and clothes we recently received from the Edge Youth Group at Lady of the Lake, we are already running low on supplies.

Praise God for answering our prayers to bring new clients through our doors!  

Amy, our newest client advocate who is fluent in Spanish has already been able to give out two of our layette baskets and promptly turned around to make three more!

She reports, "Norine and Kelly have been so great in teaching me how to become a Client Advocate at Stanton MountainPRC. I am really enjoying being able to help out with being bilingual. I will never forget the face Kelly made when she heard me speak Spanish to her client for the first time. Priceless." 

As I met with a couple last week I noticed we were completely out of newborn diapers and wipes. I believe that as we reach out to these little ones with clothes, formula and diapers; that we are the hands and feet of Jesus. As He reached out and blessed the children, we too are always praying for these children and if possible with their mothers.   

Will you help make it possible for us to continue out this work?

We have been so blessed with new clients but we desperately need baby and pregnancy items to give to them. We are looking for more churches, youth groups or women's Bible studies that would be willing to throw a baby shower for the mothers at the Pregnancy Resource Center. Currently we have two mothers whose due dates are coming up!  Aurora is due May 12 and was blessed with a shower for her baby. However, we still need someone to host a shower for Kristine who is due July 10th.  

 Would you consider hosting a baby shower for Kristine or one of our future mothers at the Pregnancy Resource Center? We will provide the fliers and your organization can supply the date and location. If you want we would also love to have you come down to our Center as a part of your baby shower.

We are pleased to announce that we will be having a Mother's Day Pampering Day, so some fun things for the mothers would be appreciated as well! Remember, April showers bring May flowers and babies!
